Trip to Vanuatu Departing from New Zealand - PRIVATE TRIP
Thank you for your interest in visiting Vanuatu during the April 2018 school holidays to assist with Cyclone Pam rebuilding projects. The group will be flying from Auckland to Port Vila on Wednesday 11th April 2018 and returns on Saturday 21st April 2018.

Sharing twin/triple/quad 3 star hotel/apartments in Port Vila; shared dorm gueshouse on Pele Island.
Transport: Hired vans & boat
Building Contribution: Each person will be responsible to raise NZ$750 to fund the building materials.
Vaccinations: You will need to consult your doctor, however common vaccinations required are Tetanus, Diphtheria, MMR, Hepatitis A, typhoid, flu vax, chicken pox (unless you have had it). Dengue fever and malaria are also present so DEET based repellent and malaria tablets are recommended. Remember it’s not just you who needs protection – it’s the local kids and families you interact with as well. Your parents will be asked to sign a vaccination confirmation form for you before departure,
Visas: No visa required for Vanuatu however 6 months validity on your passport is required.
Travel insurance: is compulsory and must include coverage for volunteer building. We offer a group policy underwritten by Allianz which is included in your trip cost assuming no pre existing conditions.
Trip Guardians: If you are under 18 years old you will need to travel with a trip guardian who is 18 years or older.
Catering: All meals are included in the trip cost.
Port Vila Excursions: A budget has been included in the trip cost for Port Vila excurions.
Trip Cost Excludes: Vaccinations, personal drinks and snacks, personal spending money, return transport from Mount College to Auckland International Airport.

The team will assemble at Auckland International Airport on Wednesday 11th April where you will depart on your flight to Port Vila. A Break Free Expeditions team member will meet you at Port Vila Airport on arrival, and transfer you to your accommodation. The team will transfer by bus and boat to Pele Island on Thursday through to the following Thursday to complete the build. On Friday the team will visit either Cascade Falls or Blue Lagoon, before visiting Hideaway Island follwed by a final celebration dinner & fire show at Friday Fire. The team will return to Auckalnd on Saturday 21st April.
